Context
Zelimir Zilnik is a Serbian film director. He was a pioneering member of the Yugoslav Black Wave, a group that questioned authority, explored taboo subjects, and depicted everyday life in new ways.
In 2014, CINUSP, the movie theater of the University of Sao Paulo, hosted an event dedicated to Zelimir's work and released the book "Zelimir Zilnik and the Black Wave," which I designed.
The use of black-and-white images and the camera improvisation are some characteristics of Zelimir's work.

I emphasized that by creating a simple and dark layout, focusing on his intense movie takes and pictures.
The cover also brings this dark and intense mood, using another well-known mark of Zelimir, the Ž's of his full name.
Besides the book, I also designed the communication material for the event: posters, social media images, and banners.
